This series of creative non-fiction children’s books is basically a travelogue for the young inquisitive reader. The book allows the children to travel with Bedbug on his adventurous journey. The objective is to introduce children to periods in the history of mankind such as Medieval, Neanderthal and pre-Druid times and to introduce some lesser publicized, but historically significant, world geographic sites.The vocabulary and sentence structure are designed for the early reader. The book will introduce certain key words that appear in red on the page and are included in a glossary at the back of the book.The children are encouraged to comment about the book on my website, http://www.bedbugsbigadventure.com and send pictures of how they imagine being part of that world. With their parent’s permission, I will post their pictures on the website, and they will be sent a memento from me in appreciation.
